Since January 2019, Dr. Yuya O. Nakagawa has worked in quantum algorithm research and development, setting up his company QunaSys to advance the practical uses of quantum technologies in industry.

Over six years, he has published 31 peer-reviewed papers in international journals with approximately 1,600 citations, including seven co-authored with corporate partners. Nakagawa served as lead author and project manager for Quantum Native Dojo!, an online educational platform teaching quantum computing that achieved around 180,000 visitors. His educational work makes quantum concepts accessible to diverse audiences through clear, creative communication of extremely complex topics.

At QunaSys, Nakagawa has been central to R&D efforts and extensive industry partnerships since the company’s inception.
