Temitope Adeniyi is recognized among a new generation of scientists shaping the global future of quantum technology. Growing up in Nigeria, her early curiosity about how the world works evolved into a lifelong commitment to discovery, innovation, and inclusion in science. Now a PhD student working in quantum computing and artificial intelligence, her research explores how intelligent agents, through machine learning, reinforcement learning, and other AI-driven methods, can optimize quantum systems to advance next-generation computation and control.
Beyond her research, Adeniyi is a leading advocate for quantum education and community development. She co-designed and helped teach the first Quantum Machine Learning course at Cleveland State University and leads hands-on outreach programs introducing high school students to quantum and artificial intelligence concepts through collaborations with The Coding School, Cleveland Clinic, and the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.
As a driving force behind the Africa Quantum Consortium, she champions talent development and research collaboration across Africa, helping position the continent as a key contributor to the global quantum ecosystem. Through her teaching, mentorship, and global advocacy, Temitope brings clarity and excitement to the field, inspiring the next generation of scientists to see themselves not just as learners but as active builders of the quantum future.
