Professor Ángela Stella Camacho Beltrán is a quantum physicist and human rights advocate whose distinguished career combines fundamental research with support for women in STEM fields.

Her work focused on the electronic and optical properties of low-dimensional materials, leading to the description of quantum dots and nanoplasmonics.
