Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narong Yoothanom, a senior advisor and prominent figure in Thailand’s science and technology community, will deliver a keynote speech commemorating the Sesquicentennial of Thai Telecommunications while also reviewing “The Discourse”, a newly released book exploring the National Frontier Research Initiative.

In this intimate mini-dinner talk, he will reflect on 150 years of Thai telecommunications—from the establishment of the country’s first telegraph line in 1875 to today’s technological landscape—drawing from his lifetime of experiences. He will also emphasize responsible science communication, particularly the importance of avoiding overhyped narratives surrounding emerging fields like quantum technology.
