A ceremony to release a special postal cover on the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology 2025, featuring six prominent Indian Quantum Scientists, prepared on the initiative of IAPT, was held in the presence of the Postmaster General of Rajasthan Circle, Col. Shushil Kumar, on 5th December 2025. Six Indian Quantum Scientists featured on the cover with their profile in the accompanying brochure are CV Raman, SN Bose, MN Saha, S Chandrashekhar, HJ Bhabha, ECG Sudarshan.

Prof. Sushil Kumar Gupta, Head of the Physics Department at Rajasthan University, Jaipur, was the chief guest. Prof. Krishan Swaroop Sharma, President, IAPT Regional Council Rajasthan, Dr. Yogesh Bhatnagar, Vice President, IAPT Regional Council Rajasthan, IAPT, Dr. Ram Phal Sharma, Executive Member, Regional Council, and the members of the Philately Club of Rajasthan were also present on the occasion. The special cancellation stamp marked the ceremonial release, which depicted (i) de Broglie’s Model of the atom, an improvement over Bohr’s Model, (ii) Schrodinger’s time-dependent equation.
