In celebration of the 100th anniversary of quantum science and technology, UNESCO has designated 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. As part of this global initiative, the Swiss Quantum Ecosystem is organizing a weeklong series of specialized events from October 13–19, with the Quantum Industry Day in Switzerland playing a central role in the program.

The Quantum Industry Day in Switzerland brings together academic researchers and industrial R&D teams to facilitate exchange, collaboration, and the rapid advancement of quantum technologies. The event features inspiring keynote talks, panel discussions, and ample networking opportunities. With significant public and private investment accelerating the transition of quantum technologies from research labs to real-world applications, industrial stakeholders are increasingly vital—providing both enabling technologies and the commercialization expertise necessary to drive progress. The program will span key domains of quantum innovation, including quantum computing, quantum sensing, quantum instrumentation, and quantum communication.
