The Science Math Resource Center (SMRC) and Applied Quantum Core at Montana State University are offering World Quantum Day kits and expansion packs for last year’s kits to help educators and youth engage with quantum science through fun STEM activities. No prior experience in quantum science is required. The kit includes resources about quantum science, a banner, and other fun classroom items, as well as lesson plans and all necessary materials.

The supplies and equipment are yours to keep and reuse. Designed for grades 6-12, the activities are meant to be used on or around World Quantum Day, April 14, 2025. Participants are asked to complete a short feedback form and submit an artifact, such as photos, videos, student reports, or artwork from their celebration. Montana educators and youth leaders are eligible to apply, with an application deadline of March 16, 2025. For questions, contact QuantumEducation@montana.edu.
