Quantum Babylon

The artist Roman Lipski has worked with the quantum-based software Quantum Blur since 2019. Together with Dr. James Wootton (Moth Quantum) and Marcel Pfaffhauser (IBM Research-Zurich), they developed this software, which makes quantum effects visually perceptible. Roman Lipskis’ new solo show at the National Museum Szczecin – Museum of Contemporary Art will present an immersive video installation showing the beauty of images created with interference and superposition effects. His video installation Quantum Babylon debates both the enormous potential quantum computing holds for the near future, as a technology that might help mankind to reduce climate change or divide the nations with decrypting codes.
