QBronze153 | Quantum Computing and Programming Workshop

We are pleased to announce the next QBronze Quantum Programming Workshop in Italy! Join us for the introductory workshop “Quantum Computing and Programming” and learn the basics of quantum computing and how to write simple quantum programs.
The workshop will be held online and in person in Cagliari (Ex Distilleria, Via Andrè Marie Ampere, 4), in collaboration with CRS4 in the DLAB project framework.
We invite high school students, university students and graduates, researchers, professors, software developers, professionals, and industry experts from the region and around the world. We will use introductory tutorials called Bronze-Qiskit by QWorld. Discord will be our primary mode of communication and the workshop will be conducted through Zoom and in person. Jupyter notebooks, Zoom lectures, and mentoring sessions will be conducted in English language, while mentorship will be provided in both Italian and English. A copy of the notebooks translated into Italian will also be made available.
We will assign daily problem sets via Qworld’s Canvas (five problemsets, worth 100 pts). The participants who successfully complete them with at least 50% per problem set and an average score of 75 pts in total will be awarded their diplomas!
This course can also be attended as self-paced and participants may watch lecture videos and complete the tasks by themselves. Mentoring support will be available throughout the workshop. The workshop will span over 5 days.
