Niels Bohr-dagarna

During the Niels Bohr Days, participants will take part in study visits and lectures on quantum mechanics and astronomy. They will also have the chance to meet researchers working in the field of quantum mechanics.

The event will begin and end in Lund, where participants will attend exciting lectures at the Department of Physics at Lund University and have the opportunity to visit research facilities and laboratories.

On the second day, participants will cross the Öresund Bridge to Denmark, where a “pilgrimage” will be made to some of the most central sites in the history and future of quantum mechanics. The highlight will be a visit to the Niels Bohr Institute, with its research facilities and historical legacy. Participants will also get to visit Europe’s oldest observatory, the Round Tower.

In addition to historical and research-related destinations, there will also be opportunities to enjoy Denmark’s rich cultural attractions!
