In January 2025, we launched the IAPT National Competition on Essay Writing in Physics NCEWP 2025. The theme of this competition was chosen as: A Journey of 100 Years of Quantum Mechanics. The competition is held in two phases. In the first phase, regional councils conduct regional essay competitions separately for students and teachers. The winning essays of the regional council competitions are forwarded to the national coordinator for final evaluation of essays and ranking. At the national level for this competition, 53 student entries and 21 teacher entries, i.e., a total of 73 entries, were received. Three judges/ examiners evaluated the essays. Prof. S. K. Joshi was the overall coordinator of NCEWP 2025. Prize-winning essays will be published as a collection of essays in e-book form. Winners were given prizes in the 39th Annual Convention of IAPT held in Goa from 5th October to 7th October 2025.
