Festival de Ciencia y Tecnología 2025
The 2025 Science and Technology Festival, proposed by the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the Autonomous University of Coahuila, is an annual event that allows students from the Physics Engineering and Applied Mathematics programs to learn about scientific advancements and participate in workshops and courses on new topics.
This year, in commemorating Schrödinger’s equation, the proposed talks and workshops focus on Quantum Mechanics. Below is a list of the Quantum Mechanics-related talks and workshops led by experts in the field:
- “Quantum Materials: From Quantum Theory to Technology” – Ing. Luis Eduardo Sánchez González, UABC.
- “On ‘Ignorance’ and Ignorance in Science: The Rise of Quantum Mechanics and Other Theories” – Dr. Jaime Burgos García.
- “The Schrödinger Equation” – Dr. Ricardo Pérez Martínez.
- Workshop: “Basic Elements of Cavity Quantum Electrodynamics” – Dr. Julio César Melgarejo.
- “Decoherence in Nonlinear Optical Fibers” – Dr. Nestor Crisóstomo Lozano.
