Description

The BIG Quantum Hackathon Qatar brings together the brightest minds in quantum innovation, including engineers, researchers, technology providers, industry leaders, and finance and policy experts, for four intensive days of collaboration and breakthrough thinking.

As a community-centric initiative, the BIG Quantum Hackathon Qatar directly supports Qatar National Vision 2030 and the country’s digital transformation priorities by accelerating the development of real-world applications of quantum technologies that benefit Qatar and the region.

2025 Edition focus area

In this edition, leaders from the quantum computing ecosystem will come together to co-create the next generation of use cases for quantum technology across multiple sectors, including healthcare, energy, chemicals, financial services, telecom, cybersecurity, and more.

The approach

Multidisciplinary teams collaborate with global quantum technology partners and leading Qatari institutions, using real data to co-create prototypes and turn bold ideas into pilot-ready solutions.
