Event Description—Theme: Teaching Amid Strangeness
Challenges, Technologies, and Innovative Practices in Teaching Quantum Mechanics from a STS Perspective

The 2nd Week of Professionals in Physics Education—100 Years of Quantum Mechanics will be held at Polo 4 (Manaus, Amazonas) of the National Professional Master’s Program in Physics Education (MNPEF). This graduate program is linked to the Brazilian Physical Society (SBF), the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM), and the Federal Institute of Amazonas (IFAM).

The event will take place on November 7–8, with activities on November 7 at the public high school Terezinha Almeida and on November 8 at IFAM.

Participants will engage in lectures, workshops, round tables, and debates focused on physics education, with a special emphasis on innovative strategies for teaching quantum mechanics through a Science, Technology, and Society (STS) perspective.
