The seminar “100 Years of Quantum Mechanics” is the first of several events that the Society of Physicists of Macedonia is coorganizing together with the Institute of Physics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics – Skopje, to celebrate the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology.

The seminar is primarily intended for high school students, i.e. future physics students. In addition to introducing them to the historical development of quantum mechanics, current research, and achievements worldwide, the seminar also aims to enable high school students to become more familiar with the study programs of the Institute of Physics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics – Skopje. One of the goals is to attract more young people to study physics.
