QuantumGirls: Resources and Activities to Celebrate World Quantum Day

Take a leap into the exciting world of quantum science with QuantumGirls! World Quantum Day is coming up on April 14, 2025. Join this exciting webinar to discover what quantum science is and why it matters.

QuantumGirls, developed by the National Girls Collaborative Project in collaboration with Montana State University and supported by the US Air Force Research Laboratory, is an innovative and free STEM curriculum designed for middle school girls. During this webinar, participants will hear from a dynamic panel of educators from Montana who have been implementing QuantumGirls with their students. Participants will explore sample activities from the QuantumGirls curriculum and walk away with resources to develop their own quantum-focused activities that will inspire and empower the next generation of girls in STEM on World Quantum Day – or all year round!

II Workshop de Redes Quânticas (WQuNets 2025)

The II Quantum Networks Workshop (WQuNets) is a satellite event of SBRC 2025, set to take place from May 19th to May 23rd, 2025, in Natal, Brazil. This workshop brings together researchers, industry professionals, and students to explore cutting-edge advancements in quantum communication and networks, fostering an environment for knowledge exchange and collaboration. Topics of interest include quantum key distribution (QKD), quantum cryptography, quantum network architectures, and the integration of quantum and classical networks.

As part of the 43rd Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC 2025), WQuNets connects the quantum research community with the broader field of computer networks and distributed systems. The workshop will feature keynote presentations, technical talks, and panel discussions, providing insights into the latest developments and challenges in the field.
