The exhibition Miguel Catalán: Following the Luminous Trail of Atoms seeks to highlight the figure of a great 20th-century Aragonese scientist who made a pioneering contribution to the development of quantum physics. Through a journey that combines biography, science, and legacy, visitors can discover how this native of Zaragoza’s passion for research led him to make decisive contributions to our understanding of the structure of matter. The exhibition consists of two complementary parts. One part features a series of explanatory panels about Miguel Catalán’s career and main scientific contributions. The second part completes the exhibition with a significant display of original documents about his life, including research materials, lab notes, original spectra, and more.
