The University of Gdansk will host an 8-hour-long in-person quantum workshop, “My Photonic Ship,” led by Dr. Abuzer Yakaryilmaz from the University of Latvia, as part of the Latvian Quantum Initiative project.

During the workshops, university students will explore quantum superposition, conduct photon experiments using simulators, engage in mathematical and philosophical discussions, and develop a video game integrating quantum superposition. Through these activities, the participants will gain hands-on experience with quantum computing principles and their creative applications.
