Quantum Sensing and Metrology School 2025
The Quantum Sensing and Metrology School is a five-day event organized by Kyiv Academic University (KAU) and the Bogolyubov Institute for Theoretical Physics, offering an overview of the latest advancements in quantum technologies. The school will be held in a hybrid format (online and in-person) in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Following the tradition of KAU’s Modern Quantum Technologies schools, the program is designed to be accessible to a broad audience—not only physics students but also engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists. Lectures will introduce fundamental concepts before delving into cutting-edge research, covering topics such as quantum navigation, magnetometry, and optical techniques beyond the Rayleigh limit.
The school is open to students, graduate students, and early-career researchers and engineers interested in quantum technologies. Participation is free and supported by the American Physical Society and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
