Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Award 2025 will be organized by the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Sports Foundation (an organization in special consultative status with UNESCO since 2021), honoring changemakers advancing inclusion, innovation, and SDG Impact. The award ceremony will be held on 14 October 2025 at the India International Centre, New Delhi. It is a national recognition program that honors individuals for their transformative contributions to sports, education, social work, and nation-building.

In alignment with the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ 2025), this year’s ceremony highlights the intersection of inclusive leadership and scientific advancement, celebrating changemakers whose work fosters:

• Public awareness of science and innovation through grassroots education, digital literacy, and youth empowerment
• Multilateral cooperation across institutions, disciplines, and communities to promote equitable access to knowledge
• Sustainable development through sport, education, and social equity—advancing SDGs 3, 4, 5, and 10

The event includes keynote addresses, award citations, and thematic tributes linking Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s legacy to the global momentum of IYQ 2025. A commemorative segment acknowledges the role of science and technology—including quantum frontiers—in building an inclusive and empowered society.
