STEI Quantum Day
STEI Quantum Day is an event organized by the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia, as part of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQST) 2025 celebrations. This event aims to foster discussions on quantum science and technology by bringing together students, researchers, and faculty members with leading experts in the field. Featuring lectures by Prof. Rodney Van Meter (Keio University, Japan) on Networks for Modular Quantum Systems and Prof. Anupam Mazumdar (University of Groningen, Netherlands) on Challenges for Creating Macroscopic Schrödinger Cat States, the event provides an opportunity to explore advancements in distributed quantum computing and fundamental aspects of quantum mechanics. Taking place on February 20, 2025, at Institut Teknologi Bandung, with online access via Zoom, this event aligns with ITB’s commitment to advancing quantum research and education.
